1. Fun
It's not much thinking (in prayer), but much love. So anything that will make you love more, do it. We do not know maybe what it is to love, I would not be very surprised. But it's not taste the greatest pleasure, but to have the strongest determination to desire always please God, to seek, wherever possible, not to offend, request him to always advance the honor and glory of her Son, and grow the Catholic Church. These are the marks of love, but do not consider this not to think of something else, and if you're a little distracted, all is lost. These bustling, sometimes well thought oppressed me. For a little over four years, I finally understood from experience, that thought, or rather make me understand, imagination is not the understanding. I asked a learned man. He told me he was so, to my greatest satisfaction. As the understanding is one of the faculties of the soul, I found it hard to see sometimes if fluttering. It is usual that the thought suddenly flies away, God alone can bind. / ... / As we can not restrain the movement of air that goes fast, at any velocity, we can no more hold our thoughts. The combination with other faculties of our soul, we believe that we lost and we misuse of time we spend with God. But the soul of adventure, is united with him in the innermost Mansions while thinking (imagination), even around the castle, a prey a thousand wild beasts and venomous, acquires merit by his sufferings. This should not disturb us, or make us give up.
