My opinion:
I really enjoyed If I stay, I had very attached to Mia and Adam and their story really touched me. Also, when I a "suite" was available, I did not hesitate a single second.
This time we saw the story from the perspective of Adam, he became a rock star well known, it is rich and can have anything he wants, he goes out with a pretty actress, and yet it is far from happy. His life is not what he wants and what it is since three years ago, Mia is a party and never returned.
But one evening while he is traveling alone to empty the mind, it falls on a concert poster of Mia held the same evening. On a whim he decided buy a ticket and go listen play. At the end of the concert, Mia learns that he is in the room and did lead to his lodge. They will then spend the night walking around New York and discuss. Tonight is interspersed with memories of their past relationship, Adam remembers.
Adam is really touching, you can feel his distress, his love for Mia is still intact, he wants one thing: to be near her, find her.
But thinking primarily of her and is willing to let her go if it's better for her. He just wants to know why she left a few years ago, why she destroyed ...
Obviously we want Mia to have done that, especially when you know how Adam has sustained three years earlier, and then we come to understand what drove her to do that.
I loved this book, a beautiful love story, very touching.
And having loved those two books, I think I let myself be tempted by the other book by Gayle Forman Cracks Hearts.
