My opinion:
We find our heroine, Cat Crawfield, 4 years after the end of Volume 1, where she had joined under duress, the special FBI unit that fights vampires, and Bones left in order not to endanger. This does not mean she has forgotten ...
And Bones (sigh) having promised him this: "If you run away, I will pursue. And I'll meet you ...", surprising therefore to see our two protagonists together again! And Cat being pursued by powerful vampire, who better than Bones to assist and watch his back?!
L The author has found a good balance between suspense, romance and the supernatural, the twists follow one another, and the hot scenes, and we also learn more about Cat's father, the famous vampire who raped his mother and has made pregnant 28 years earlier.
Cat is always so determined, strong, independent, too brittle, I love the dialogue that accompanies his fights. We also learn more about the consequences implied by the fact that she is a half-vampire, some revelations are the least destabilizing ...
Bones is always the same: charming, strong and quick, charismatic, replicas always well chosen and often scathing, and just as protective, in brief: Sexy!
I liked that we find new characters, Cat men all have something that makes them interesting and it sticks to it, even if the final scenes where Cat and Bones are united overshadow everything else !
Both say that Volume 3 will spend no long in my PAL!
